Sunset Tambor
Our mission is to revive a music community within the neighborhood of Sunset Park, Brooklyn, that will give the immigrant community access to a music education, and a cultural experience that extend beyond the the music classroom.
Sunset Tambor studio is a musical and artistic space located in the Sunset Park, in Brooklyn, New York. The studio was founded in 2024 by Musician and educator Christian Rodriguez. The studio serves as a rehearsal space, audio production studio, educational space, content creator space (videos, podcasts, digital content, social media posts)
ur mission at Spark Music Program is to provide a space of focus in the study of musical instruments. Integrating both traditional and popular music of the Caribbean and Latin America. Teaching musical styles like Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Guaguanco, Samba, Bolero and many more. Spark Music Program seeks to continue the African legacy of drumming and the music which enchants us with its ancestral spirit, and is interwoven in the styles we learn, listen, dance or create.

Christian Rodriguez
Christian is a professional drummer and percussionist with over 10 years of teaching experience. He has played with numerous bands and artists in a variety of genres, and his passion for music is infectious.
